PathFinder
Interview preparation tool
I worked as the UX/UI designer | UX researcher & User Interaction designer
I used Adobe Xd, Adobe Ps & Miro to present my idea in 4 weeks
I designed The PathFinder interview prep application as a complementary tool for the PathFinder career transition website. It helps users get ready for their future interviews by providing features like mentor support, recording mock interviews with AI feedback and general interview readiness kits.

Job seekers often face significant challenges in preparing for interviews, including a lack of access to personalized guidance, difficulty practicing effectively, and limited tools to evaluate their performance. These obstacles lead to anxiety and missed opportunities, as candidates struggle to present their best selves during interviews.
What is the problem and what do users need?
Goal statement

Next steps ...

-
My next step is to evaluate the effectiveness of the app by calculating the times users booked a session with an expert. And by
calculating the time users spend on finding a proper service for themselves from the app.

-
My next step is to work on design the “general tips”Section of the app in a way that the information Provided is easily accessible and filterable based on user’s needs.

-
My next step is to design the “mock interviews”Section of the website in a way that users can choose between getting feedback from an AI tool or from their own mentor.

Takeaways ...
-
During the design of this project I learned that simplicity and clarity is key for designing an application. The purpose is to help users reach their goals easily without putting too much time and effort on each task. To reach that point, we have to conduct usability studies to make sure the product is usable and enjoyable for users.

-
After the second usability study of this product, users reported that the design of micro interactions helped with a smooth and fun navigation through the app and made them enjoy using the product.
